The letters JSB imply, of course, a connection with the famous cantor of St Thomas’s Church in Leipzig but, for us, represent the initials of the key figures behind the label:

• Jan Willem van Willigen: recording engineer, editing, photography, graphic design
• Sietze de Vries: performer, co-ordination
• Bert Veening: co-ordination, distribution

Our label produces CDs of outstanding music, with the organ at its heart. By placing improvisation and the performance of organ literature on an equal footing, each CD is unique, guaranteeing JSB Records a special niche in the market.

In addition, JSB Records strives not only to record beautiful organs, but also to combine them with choirs or with other instruments, thus placing them in the broadest possible context.

The CDs produced by JSB records come in elegant digipacks with numerous sumptuous photos.
